We’d already heard about Huawei’s upcoming Y9s mid-ranger offering yesterday, after a promotional poster of the device had been spotted.
Today, the same device had been listed on Huawei’s official website along with it’s full specifications. The Huawei Y9s will be the forth member under the Y9s moniker, which currently consists of the Huawei Y9 (2018), Huawei Y9 (2019), as well as Huawei Y9 Prime.
According to it’s listing, the Huawei Y9s will feature a 6.59-inch Ultra FullView LCD display with 2340 x 1080 pixels screen resolution. Under the hood, the device will be driven by an octa-core Kirin 710F SoC coupled with 6GB of RAM and 128GB onboard storage space.
Camera-wise, there will be a triple-camera setup on it’s back panel comprising of a 48 MP (f/1.8 aperture) main snapper, 8 MP Ultra Wide Angle Lens (f/2.4 aperture) and a 2 MP (f/2.4 aperture) depth sensor. At the front, it will be deploying a 16MP motorized pop-up selfie camera.
The Huawei Y9s will be fueled by a 4,000mAh battery, and will come loaded with EMUI 9.1 based on Android Pie OS. For those who’re interested, the device should be available in two color options including Midnight Black and Breathing Crystal.
