Currently, customers who’re interested in purchasing the Mate 40 RS Porsche Design through official channel will have to first sign up for JD.com’s “PLUS” membership in order to enter a lottery which will draw a select number of lucky ones who’re eligible to take part in the next round of limited sale. Once the sale commence, there’s still no guarantee in securing a unit as the limited units are available on a first-come-first-serve basis.
Otherwise, those who doesn’t want to go through the long process will have to purchase the device through third party retailers that are selling it at a heavily marked up price.
