Although many may have expected the Huawei P40 Pro to carry the cheapest price tag in China, but that’s not the case. Instead, the device is actually cheapest in the Malaysian market.

Huawei P40 Pro Specifications

The Huawei P40 Pro features a revolutionary “Quad-curved display” which is known better as an Overflow Display. Unlike the typical curved display, the brand new Overflow Display will wrap off the top and bottom frames of the device as well. This allows the device to boast a considerably high screen-to-body ratio.

This Overflow Display will be an OLED panel which measures approximately 6.58-inches diagonally and has a pretty impressive 2640 x 1200 pixels screen resolution. Also, the obvious pill-shaped cut-out on the front panel will be home to a 32 megapixels selfie camera (with autofocus) as well as an IR depth sensor.

Besides that, other key highlights of the camera system also includes the latest Huawei XD Fusion Engine which is said to enable faster processing of data with “unmatched clarity at the pixel level”. Similarly, it also has an Octa Phase Detection which enables ultra-quick autofocus capabilities.

In terms of internals, the Huawei P40 Pro will be backed by the flagship Kirin 990 5G SoC which is compatible to the latest 5G connectivity for both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes. The device will be fueled by a moderate battery which has a capacity rating of 4,200mAh, and supports up to 40W wired charging and 27W wireless charging.
