Here’s how the upcoming Huawei P Smart 2020 looks like

Huawei will soon be announcing a new entry-level smartphone known as the Huawei P Smart 2020. As its name suggests, this device will be the successor to the Huawei P Smart 2019.

Similar to last year’s Huawei P Smart, the upcoming model will continue to sport a 6.21-inches LCD display with FHD+ screen resolution. It will also maintain its dewdrop-notch design to house its 16MP selfie-camera.

On its rear, it sports a redesigned camera module which now looks pretty similar to that of the recently announced Honor 9X Lite. This module will house a dual-camera setup which includes a 13 megapixels main camera and a 2 megapixels depth sensor.

Under the hood, it will be powered by the same Kirin 710F SoC. However, its RAM and storage capacity will be bumped up to 4GB and 128GB respectively this time round. Its internal storage could be further expanded via a mciroSD card as well.

To keep its lights on, there will be a decent 3,400mAh battery which will now be charged via a USB-C port instead of microUSB port found in last year’s model. On the software-side, this device will run on the EMUI 9.1 based on Android Pie OS. Most importantly, it is expected to run on Google Mobile Services out of the box.

For those who’re interested, the device will be offered in three different colorways including Aurora, Green and Black.
