After launching the Realme 9 SE and Realme 9 5G last month, we’d heard that the company will soon be launching a 4G variant of the Realme 9 in the forthcoming weeks. Ahead of it’s launch, we’re now able to get our first look at the device courtesy of acclaimed leaker @stufflistings via an official-looking render which shows off the phone in the Sunburst Gold colorway.
Interestingly, the render revealed that the upcoming Realme 4G will be arriving with a completely different rear design as the 5G variant – especially it’s rear camera housing. Nonetheless, it’ll still be sporting a triple-cam setup which according to recent reports, will be lead by an 108 megapixels Samsung ISOCELL HM6 imaging sensor.
Considering that the 5G model has a 48 megapixels main unit, it appears that the 4G variant will be equipped with a better camera system despite the lack of support for the next-generation’s connectivity.
Apparently, the new 108MP ”ProLight” camera is said to improve the camera’s light sensitivity by 123% compared to the ISOCELL HM2. This means that the camera will be able to capture photos of better quality under low-light conditions.
While other details of the Realme 9 4G are largely not known at the moment, there were rumors that the phone could be featuring a large 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
