TCL 303 is a new entry-level smartphone powered by MediaTek Helio A22

Chinese electronics giant TCL has announced a new entry-level smartphone dubbed as the TCL 303 in the global market. This model packs a compact 5.5” LCD display that comes with a modest HD+ screen resolution along with 60Hz refresh rate.

For imaging, the phone has a single 8 megapixels snapper on the rear side of the phone which will be aided by a LED flash for low-light photography. This will be rounded out by a 5 megapixels front-facing camera to help with selfies and video calls.

Under the hood, the TCL 303 is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio A22 chipset which is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage which can be further expanded by up to 128GB via a microSD card.

To keep it’s lights on, the device is backed by a respectable 3,000mAh battery which doesn’t appears to feature any form of fast-charging solution. Just like many other budget-centric smartphones, it’ll be shipped with a lightweight Android 11 (Go Edition) right off the box.

Those who’re interested can pick phone from two different colorways such as Prime Black and Atlantic Blue. However, the official pricing and availability of the TCL 303 has yet to be announced by the company at the moment.
