It seems like Huawei is prepping another smartphones aside from the recently spotted Huawei P30 Pro New Edition. These two devices are none other than the Huawei Y5p and Huawei Y6p which already have their renders and key specs leaked today.

Huawei Y5p

Let’s begin with the Huawei Y5p. Based on the design of its rear panel, we can safely assume that this device is likely to be a rebranded version of the newly announced Honor 9S. Moreover, the device also shares pretty much the same specs as the Honor 9S as well.

At the front, the Huawei Y5p will feature a 5.45-inches LCD display with 1440 x 720 pixels screen resolution. Unlike other smartphones which employs a dewdrop-notch or hole-punch for its selfie camera, the upcoming Huawei Y5p will instead have a huge bezels at the top to accommodate its 5 megapixels camera.

Over at the back, the Huawei Y5p touts a squarish camera module which is home to a single 8 megapixels camera and a LED flash. The device will be driven by an octa-core Helio P22 SoC which is assisted by 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage space which is further expandable by a microSD card.

To keep its lights on, there will be a 3,020mAh battery which is capable of supporting hours of continuous usage on the go. The device will run on the latest EMUI 10.1 based on Android 10 (AOSP version).

Huawei Y6p

As for the Huawei Y6p, this device will come with slightly better specs than the Y5p. The device will feature a 6.3-inches LCD display with 1600 x 720 pixels screen resolution. Its dewdrop-notch at the front will house a decent 8 megapixels selfie camera.

On the flip-side, the Huawei Y6p will have a triple-camera array arranged in a vertical fashion. It consists of a 13 megapixels main camera, 5 megapixels ultra-wide lens, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. A rear-mounted fingerprint sensor is present as well.

Under the hood, the device is powered by the same Helio P22 SoC coupled with 3GB of RAM and 64GB onboard storage which is also expandable by up to 512GB via a microSD card.

The device has a generous 5,000mAh which does not carry any fast-charging support. On the software-side, it will run on the EMUI 10 based on Android 10 (AOSP version).
