Here’s our first look at the upcoming Google Pixel 4a!

After debuting their latest Google Pixel 4 and Pixel 4 XL duo in October, Google is now gearing up for the release of their next impressive device – Pixel 4a.

The Google Pixel 4a will be the second budget-centric smartphone from Google after the current Pixel 3a – which has enjoyed a pretty successful launch thanks to it’s promising sales figure.

As compared to the Pixel 3a, the Pixel 4a’s bezel has been significantly reduced as the company had chose to deploy a hole-punched display this time round.

On it’s rear panel, there will be a squarish-camera module which shares a close resemblance to the one we saw on the Pixel 4. However, it will only house a single camera sensor along with a LED flash.

With that in mind, we wouldn’t expect to see any ultra wide lens or depth sensors of any sort on the upcoming Pixel 4a.

Besides that, it’s also pretty obvious from the renders that Google had dropped the traditional two-tone construction for it’s rear design. This had also been the case for the newly announced Google Pixel 4.

The Pixel 4a will continue to utilize a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor in place of the company’s renowned “Face Unlock” feature for user authentication.

Similarly, there is also an obvious presence of a 3.5mm headphone jack at the top, as well as USB-C port and a pair of speaker grilles at the bottom.

So far, there is still no words on the device’s launch date but reports suggest it could be introduced during the next Google I/O Developer Conference.
