Earlier this year, Honor announced a pair of “Play” series smartphones which include the likes of the Honor Play 4T and Play 4T Pro. Right now, another device under the “Play” series had made a brief appearance on JD.com before being taken down. This device is none other than the Honor Play 4 Pro.
Seen from the renders, the upcoming Honor Play 4 Pro will be featuring a dual hole-punch display on the front panel which resembles that of the Honor V30. Over at the back, there is also a rectangular camera module which houses a total of two cameras along with a LED flash.
These cameras are expected to consist of a main camera, an ultra-wide lens, as well as a depth/ macro camera. Speculations are rife that the main camera will be a 40 megapixels Sony IMX600y sensor.
As of now, there are still no words on the device’s official specs. However, it is likely to be driven by the same Kirin 820 SoC found in the newly announced Honor X10. As such, it will also be able to support 5G connectivity for both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes.
According to rumors, the Honor Play 4 Pro is expected to debut somewhere during the second week of June.
