Recently, Honor’s Play series product manager Wei Xiao Long had revealed that the company will soon be launching new Honor Play 5 series smartphones in the upcoming month.
Now, despite being weeks away from their actual unveiling, we’re able to have our first look at one of the Play 5 series smartphone, Honor Play 5, courtesy of the folks over at GSMArena who posted what seems to be the official press render of the upcoming device.
According to the render, the upcoming Honor Play 5 is expected to feature a flat display that comes with a rather typical dewdrop-notch design upfront. This will be accompanied by some pretty slim bezels along the sides of the device.
Over on the rear side, the Honor Play 5 arrives with a square-shape camera island which looks quite like what we’d saw on the recently announced Honor Play 5T Youth. It’s quad-camera setup at the back is lead by a 64 megapixels main camera which will be assisted by three other auxiliary cameras.
At the moment, the rest of the Honor Play 5’s specs remain under the wrap other than it’s 66W fast-charging support. However, this device is likely to be a mid-ranger smartphone which could be accompanied by a “Pro” model as well.
