Here’s our first look at the upcoming Realme 8s

Back in March, Realme announced the Realme 8 series smartphones comprising of the vanilla Realme 8 and Realme 8 Pro. The duo was later joined by the Realme 8 5G in the following month.

Right now, a new report from 91Mobiles has claimed that the company is prepping another pair of Realme 8 series smartphones known as the Realme 8i and Realme 8s. On top of that, the outlet has also released a couple of high quality renders of the Realme 8s in collaboration with notorious leaker, Steve Hemmerstoffer.

As seen from the renders, the upcoming budget-friendly Realme 8s will be arriving with a squarish camera island at the back which houses a triple-camera system lead by a 64 megapixels main camera alongside two other unknown cameras.

Likewise, the renders also clearly depict the presence of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner, 3.5mm headphone jack, as well as a USB-C port along the side edges of the phone.

Although the renders only show the rear side of the phone, but the same report did mentioned that the front display will measures 6.5” diagonally, and offers a smooth 90Hz refresh rate as well as a 16 megapixels front-facing camera.

Under the hood, the Realme 8s will reportedly be powered by an octa-core, 5G-ready MediaTek Dimensity 810 chipset which is paired with up to 8GB RAM in the memory department. Keeping it’s lights on will be a respectable 5,000mAh battery with 33W fast-charging support.
