Android Phones Leaked News Xiaomi

Here’s our first look at the upcoming Redmi 10!

Following the launch of the entry-level Redmi 9 smartphone back in June last year, it seems like Xiaomi will soon be launching it’s successor known as the Redmi 10 in the next couple of weeks.

This came after the Redmi 10’s listing was spotted on Courts Singapore online store along with it’s official renders and specs, as well as a retail price of S$249 (US$184) for it’s 6GB+128GB variant.

Redmi 10 Render

As seen in the renders, the upcoming Redmi 10 will be featuring a central hole-punch display upfront, and a large rectangular camera island on the rear side which houses a quad-camera system. The phone will also be available in three different color options including Carbon Grey, Pebble White, and Sea Blue.

In terms of specs, the Redmi 10 is expected to sport a 6.5” LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz refresh rate, as well as an 8 megapixels selfie camera housed within it’s central hole-punch cutout compartment. As usual, the Redmi 10 will be adopting a side-mounted fingerprint scanner this time round as well.

For photography, the four cameras at the back include a 50 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro shooter, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. To help with low-light photography, there’s also a LED flash at the back too.

Under the hood, the Redmi 10 is powered by the latest MediaTek Helio G88 chipset which will be paired with up to 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department. It’s internal storage as usual, can be further expanded via a microSD card.

To keep it’s lights on, the Redmi 10 draws power from a respectable 5,000mAh battery which carries support for 18W fast-charging. On the software-side, the phone will be shipped with MIUI 12 based on Android 11 out of the box.
