Recently, we’d heard that Samsung is prepping a number of entry-level to mid-range devices for the global markets, including the Galaxy A22, Galaxy M32, as well as the Galaxy F52 to name a few. However, it seems like the company still have more devices in the pipeline and the Galaxy A03s is among one of them.
As you may have already expected, the Galaxy A03s will be arriving as a successor for last year’s Galaxy A02s. Today, courtesy of the folks over at 91Mobiles, we’re finally able to get our first look at the Galaxy A03s ahead of it’s actual unveiling.
In terms of design and specs, the Galaxy A03s doesn’t seems to differ much from it’s predecessor. This means the phone will be retaining the same Infinity-V display upfront which is expected to measure 6.5” diagonally. As for the overall footprint of the phone, it’s likely to measure around 166.6 x 75.9 x 9.1mm.
Over at the back, you’ll be greeted by a familiar rectangular camera island which brings along a triple-camera setup which is said to include a 13 megapixels main camera, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels auxiliary cameras. Speaking of cameras, it also keeps the same 5 megapixels front-facing shooter for selfie and video-calling too.
In fact, the only differences between the Galaxy A03s and A02s seem to boil down to the presence of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner on the Galaxy A03s – a feature which was absent on the Galaxy A02s. Similarly, the microUSB port on the Galaxy A02s has also been USB Type-C port instead.
At the moment, there still isn’t any information pertaining to it’s underlying chipset which could well be another differentiating feature among the two devices. Hopefully, we’ll get to hear more about this device in the upcoming weeks!
