Android Phones Leaked News Samsung

Here’s our first look at the upcoming Samsung Galaxy A22 5G

This year alone, Samsung had already launched a number of prominent A series smartphones with the most recent models being the Galaxy A52 and Galaxy A72 which were unveiled last month.

Now, according to well-accredited leaker Steve Hemmerstoffer, the Korean smartphone maker is now prepping another 5G device from the A series lineup known as the Samsung Galaxy A22 5G.

This device is likely to be the most affordable 5G smartphone launched by Samsung, which will be even cheaper than the current Galaxy A32 5G. As usual, Steve also published several CAD-based renderings of the Galaxy A22 5G which give us a good idea on its design ahead of its actual unveiling.

Based on the renderings, the upcoming Galaxy A22 5G is expected to arrive with an Infinity-V display which is said to measure 6.5” diagonally. The presence of a side-mounted fingerprint scanner also suggests that the phone is likely to feature a LCD display over an AMOLED display to keep its cost low.

Around the back of the device, you get a square-shape camera module which houses a total of three camera lenses along with a LED flash. According to past reports, its main camera is likely to be a 48 megapixels sensor which might be paired with an ultra-wide unit as well as either a macro or depth camera.

Other than that, the phone also has a bottom-firing speaker, USB-C port and a 3.5mm headphone jack located along the base of the phone.
