OPPO has already confirmed that the company will be launching the next-generation’s Reno6 series smartphones on May 27th in the Chinese market. Ahead of it’s launch, OPPO has apparently published the official renders of the OPPO Reno6 5G which revealed the design of the phone in full entirety.
Upfront, the device will feature a flat panel which is said to measure 6.43” diagonally. It’s expected to be an AMOLED display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution and a smooth 90Hz refresh rate. An in-display fingerprint scanner is also likely to tag along as well.
What’s interesting however, is that the Reno6 5G will be arriving with flat metallic edges along it’s four sides – a feature that inevitably reminds us of Apple’s iPhones. Nonetheless, it definitely goes well with the overall design of the phone and looks more refreshing than the usual curve edges that we saw among it’s predecessors.
Around the back of the phone, there’s a rectangular camera island which is home to a triple-camera setup lead by a 64 megapixels main camera. It’s rear camera system will be aided by a dual-LED flash located within the same camera module.
At the helm, rumors are rife that the OPPO Reno6 5G will be powered by the new MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department. As usual, the phone will retain the 65W SuperVOOC 2.0 fast-charging onboard as well.
