Chinese smartphone maker HiSense has officially unveiled a new budget-friendly smartphone known as the HiSense U50 in the Mexican market, where the phone retails at an affordable price of just 2,699 MXN (US$135).
The HiSense U50 features a 6.08” IPS LCD display that offers a HD+ screen resolution, 60Hz refresh rate, as well as a 5 megapixels front-facing camera housed within a typical-looking dewdrop notch.
At the back of the phone, the HiSense U50 sports a iPhone 12-alike camera module which houses a triple-cam setup that includes an 8 megapixels main camera as well as a pair of auxiliary cameras.
Under the hood, the HiSense U50 is powered by a quad-core UNISOC SC7731E chipset which is paired with 2GB RAM and 32GB onboard storage that can be further expanded via a microSD card.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone draws power from a modest 4,100mAh battery. Other than that, it also comes with a 3.5mm headphone jack and is shipped with Android 11 out of the box.
