Honor 20 Pro

Although the Honor 20 Pro has been announced more than a month ago, but its availability is currently limited only to the Chinese market. One of the main reason for the delay is due to its failure to receive Google Play services which prohibits it from running various Google Play services on the device.

List of Google Play certified devices

However, things have finally changed today as the Honor 20 Pro has already been added to the list of Google Play certified devices – hinting that the device will soon be available in the global market. If you take a look at the certification listing, you will realize that the Honor 20 Pro is also listed as Huawei Nova 5T Pro. This implies that the device may carries a Huawei branding instead of Honor in some markets.

Needless to say, the Honor 20 Pro is definitely one of the best budget flagship in the current market – offering a powerful specs sheet while at the same time, keeping its price affordable. However, ever since the US imposed a trade ban on Huawei, its future became grim due to the growing concerns among global consumers with regards to future software updates and support.

In its local market however, consumers’ confidence for the brand remain sky high after crossing the one million sales mark for Honor 20 within 14 days of debut.
