iQOO Neo Appears in Official Video to Confirm DC Dimming Feature

Vivo iQOO is gearing up to announce the iQOO Neo gaming smartphone on July 2. Ahead of its launch, the Chinese firm has shared plenty of information about the smartphone. Today, it has released a video to not only showcase the smartphone in real skin, but also to confirm that it will carry support for DC dimming.

Vivo Neo features a 6.38-inch OLED display. These days smartphone manufacturers are adding DC dimming features on phones with OLED panels. The iQOO Neo too will be arriving with the said capability. In he below video, the Chinese firm has demonstrated how enabling of DC dimming feature reduces the flickering of the iQOO Neo’s display.

The displays on both iQOO Neo phones can be seen flickering. However, when the toggle for DC dimming is enabled on the left device, its screen stops flickering. iQOO has recently releasing the DC dimming feature through an update for the iQOO smartphone users.

The Vivo iQOO Neo smartphone’s display features an in-screen fingerprint reader. The Snapdragon 845 chipset is present under the hood of the device. It will be arriving with a 4,500mAh battery that supports 22.5W rapid charging. It will be available in Blue and Black colors. As of this writing, there is no information available on the pricing of the phone. Some rumors have claimed that there will be a Snapdragon 710 edition of the phone. However, there is no official confirmation on it yet.
