Honor 30S will come with 40W fast-charging support

Every day, we are getting more and more details on the upcoming Honor 30S which is slated to go official on March 30th next week.

Just yesterday, we’d seen the real life image of the Honor 30S and today, we’ve also gained confirmation that the device will be equipped with a 40W fast-charging technology. This will put it on par as the recently announced Huawei P40 flagship series which also come with the same 40W fast-charging rate.

Needless to say, fast-charging is just one of the many attractive features of the Honor 30S. Previously, Honor had also revealed that the device will touts an impressive camera system that include an advanced ISP 5.0 and BM3D SLR noise reduction technology.

Not only that, the AnTuTu score achieved by the Honor 30S also highlights the performance boost from it’s underlying Kirin 820 SoC. Based on a recent Geekbench 4 performance tests, the Kirin 820 actually outdo the Kirin 980 and Snapdragon 855 SoC.

That being said, the Honor 30S is likely to be one of the lowest-end model within the Honor 30 smartphone series. Other than the Honor 30S, there will be at least another 2 higher-end models known as Honor 30 and Honor 30 Pro. This duo will be fueled by the company’s flagship Kirin 990 SoC instead.
