Honor 400 series teaser begins, May launch expected

Honor Malaysia has started teasing the arrival of what appears to the Honor 400 series of smartphones. The brand has already launched the Honor 400 Lite globally, and now its reportedly gearing up to add two more models, namely the Honor 400 and 400 Pro. The company has released an official teaser, providing an initial glimpse at the camera arrangement of the 400 series.

The Honor 400 series’ first teaser reveals that it is equipped with a triple camera unit arranged in a triangular design. The lenses are accented with metallic rings, adding a premium touch to the overall aesthetic.

The phrase “Next-Gen AI Imaging” displayed on the poster suggests a strong emphasis on photography features powered by artificial intelligence. The poster also indicates that it is coming soon, hinting at a May launch.

According to reports, the standard Honor 400 is expected to come with a 6.55-inch AMOLED display with a flat design, whereas the Pro variant will have a bigger 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a quad-curved design. Both phones will support a 120Hz refresh rate, a 1.5K resolution, and a peak brightness of 5,000 nits.

While the Honor 400 will feature the Snapdragon 7 Gen 3 chip, the Pro edition could be equipped with the Snapdragon 8 Gen 3. The series is expected to ship with Magic OS 9.0-based on Android 15, up to 12 GB of RAM and up to 512 GB of storage. Both models are expected to pack a 5,300mAh battery, with the standard and Pro models supporting 66W and 100W fast charging, respectively.

The Honor 400’s rear camera setup is rumored to include a 200-megapixel primary sensor with OIS and a 12-megapixel ultrawide lens. On the other hand, the Pro edition will have an additional 50-megapixel telephoto camera on the back. Both models are expected to feature a 50-megapixel camera for selfies.
