Honor has unveiled a brand new Honor Code color variant for the Honor 50 smartphone in the Chinese market which turns out to be the fifth color option on top of the current Frost Crystal, Amber Red, Emerald Green and Midnight Black colorways.
The new Honor Code variant employs a fashionable monogram style design using the letters within the company’s name (HONOR) on it’s back panel which gives the phone a premium and luxurious outlook.
Apart from the aesthetic differences, the rest of it’s specs and pricing remain unchanged. In the Chinese market, the new Honor Code variant will go on sale on September 3rd with a starting price of 2,699 Yuan (US$417).
Honor 50 Specifications
The Honor 50 smartphone features a 6.57” AMOLED display which brings along the same FHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, HDR10+ support, as well as a 32 megapixels selfie camera.
In the imaging department, the phone is equipped with a quad-camera system that include a 108 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels monochrome lens.
Under the hood, the Honor 50 is powered by the latest Snapdragon 778G mobile platform which will be paired with up to 12GB RAM and 256GB onboard storage in the memory department.
To keep it’s lights on, the phone draws power from a respectable 4,300mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support. On the software-side, the phone is shipped with Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11 OS.
