Honor 50 series had already achieved more than 1 million registrations on JD.com alone

Tomorrow, Honor will finally be launching the much anticipated Honor 50 series smartphones which will reportedly consist of three different models that include the likes of Honor 50, Honor 50 Pro and Honor 50 SE.

Ahead of the official launch, both the Honor 50 and Honor 50 Pro are already available for registration of interests on JD.com, where the duo had already achieved more than 1 million registrations collectively.

From what we’d learned so far, the Honor 50 Pro is expected to rock a 6.72” OLED display upfront that’s likely to feature a FHD+ screen resolution accompanied by a high refresh rate.

Just like last year’s Honor 30 Pro, it will retain the familiar pill-shape cutout on the upper-left corner of the screen which houses a 32 megapixels main camera which will be assisted by a 12 megapixels helper.

In the camera department, the Honor 50 Pro is said to arrive with a quad-camera system lead by a 108 megapixels main camera. As for the other three cameras, they include an 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens and a pair of 2 megapixels auxiliary cameras.

Under the hood, the Honor 50 Pro is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 778G chipset which is expected to be paired with at least 8GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department.

To keep it’s lights on, the device draws power from a respectable 4,000mAh battery which carries support for an ultra-fast 100W charging support that’s capable of delivering a full charge in around 25 minutes.

Moving on to the vanilla Honor 50, it’s expected to share largely similar specs as the “Pro” model. However, unlike the Honor 50 Pro which gets a 6.72” OLED display, the vanilla model settles for a slightly smaller 6.57” OLED display instead. Similarly, it will be equipped with a single 32 megapixels selfie camera instead of a dual-camera system upfront.

Last but not the least, the Honor 50 comes with a slightly larger 4,300mAh battery which gets a toned-down 66W fast-charging support. Other than that, the rest of the specs are likely to remain unchanged.
