Realme GT 5G debuts in the global market

So after all the waiting, Realme has finally unleashed the company’s first flagship of the year – Realme GT 5G – in the global market. Carrying an amicable starting price of just 369 Euro (US$447), the Realme GT 5G is certainly one of the most affordable flagship phone in the market.

The Realme GT 5G arrives with a 6.43-inches Super AMOLED display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, as well as a smooth 120Hz refresh rate and a responsive 360Hz touch sampling rate. On top of that, the front display also features an in-display fingerprint scanner, and has a 16 megapixels selfie camera housed within a hole-punch cutout.

In the imaging department, the Realme GT 5G relies on a triple-camera system at back lead by a 64 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide camera, as well as a 2 megapixels macro camera. In terms of videography, its capable of supporting 4K/60fps and 720p/480fps for ultra slow-mo.

Under the hood, the Realme GT 5G is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 888 mobile platform which will be paired with up to 12GB LPDDR5 RAM and 256GB UFS 3.1 flash storage. To enhance gaming experience, the phone also features a linear vibration motor which brings 4D vibration during gaming for a more immersive experience.

On the audio side, the phone gets a Hi-Res certified dual speakers and brings along the much coveted 3.5mm headphone jack. Keeping its lights on is a respectable 4,500mAh battery that come with support for 65W SuperDart charging. As usual, the phone will be shipped with the custom Realme UI 2.0 based on Android 11 OS out of the box.

For those who’re interested, the Realme GT 5G is priced at 449 Euroand 599 Euro respectively for it’s 8GB+128GB and 12GB+256GB variants.
