Honor 60 SE Launch Date Likely to be Confirmed Tomorrow

Honor announced the Honor Magic V foldable phone in January this year. With its arrival, it became the first brand to launch a foldable phone powered by the Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset. Reports have claimed that the company is gearing up to launch new mid-rangers in China. Today, Honor China CMO Jiang Hairong Harrison confirmed that the company will be unveiling a new Honor 60 series product tomorrow (Feb. 8) in the home market. It appears that the company may confirm the Honor 60 SE launch date tomorrow.

Recently, an Honor phone with model number GIA-AN00 was spotted at Geekbench and the 3C certification site. The Geekbench listing had revealed that the device will come equipped with the Dimensity 900 chipset, 8 GB of RAM, and Android 11 OS. It scored 3314 in Geekbench 4’s single-core test and 8287 in the multi-core test.

The device was spotted with a 66W charger at the 3C certification site in December 2021. The Honor 60 SE will be positioned lower than the Honor 60 that features the Snapdragon 778G and the Honor 60 Pro, which is powered by the Snapdragon 778G Plus. The other specs of the Honor 60 SE are under the wraps.

The Honor 60 SE case renders that had surfaced in December revealed that it will be equipped with a punch-hole display on the front and a camera module similar to the iPhone 13 series. Like the other Honor 60 series phones, it is likely to lack a 3.5mm audio jack.

It is speculated that the company may also announce the Honor X40i mid-range phone alongside the Honor 60 SE. The alleged device with TFY-AN40 model number and 40W charger had recently emerged at the 3C certification. Unfortunately, there is no information on the other specs of the X40i.
