It’s important to know however, that the Chinese variant of the Honor 9X is different from the global variant which is merely a rebranded Huawei Enjoy 10 Plus. Therefore, this will unlikely be applicable to the global variant.

Although the EMUI 10 Beta recruitment program only commenced today for the Honor 9X and 9X Pro, but some of the Honor devices including Honor 20, Honor 20 Pro, Honor V20 (View 20) and Honor Magic 2 had already received the stable update last month.

If everything went smoothly during the Beta program, then the stable update could be rolled out as early as January next year.

What can we expect from the EMUI 10?

As a quick summary, some of the key features which will arrive with EMUI 10 include a refreshed user interface, an exhilarating dark mode, snappier performance, multi-screen collaboration, Huawei’s HiCar and many more.
