Honor 9X Pro with HMS will debut on February 24th

After bringing the Honor 9X to the global market back in October last year, Honor is now prepping for the official launch of its buffed up variant known as Honor 9X Pro.

The Honor 9X Pro has been confirmed to make it’s global debut on February 24th during an online launch event. During the same event, we are expected to see the official launch of the company’s Honor V30 and V30 Pro flagships as well.

Unlike the current Honor 9X, the Honor 9X Pro will be driven by an octa-core Kirin 810 SoC, and will be one of the first Honor smartphones to support Huawei Mobile Services (HMS) instead of the traditional Google Mobile Services (GMS).

Honor 9X Pro (Chinese variant)

Since the global variant of the Honor 9X has a different set of specs as the Chinese variant, we wouldn’t be surprised if the Honor 9X Pro global variant has some differences from the Chinese variant as well.

However, we do expect it’s design to be pretty similar to the Chinese variant. Therefore, we can continue to see a motorize pop-up selfie camera and a vertically-aligned triple-camera setup located on it’s rear.
