Honor Magic 2 will be launching on Wednesday. The official and leaked renders of the smartphone have already appeared in the recent reports. Moreover, the entire specs of the smartphone have been through its TENAA listing. The smartphone has now appeared on AnTuTu with key specs. Recently, the Mate 20 Pro spotted on AnTuTu with an impressive score of 307k. Compared to it, the Honor Magic 2 has scored a lower benchmarking score of 248k.
The above screenshot of Honor TNY-AL00 which is the model number of Honor Magic 2 has recorded an average benchmarking score of 248,368 on AnTuTu. Like the Mate 20 Pro, the handset Honor Magic 2 is also packed with same specs such as 8 GB of RAM, 128 GB of storage, Android 9 Pie OS and Kirin 980. Instead of Quad HD+ resolution screen available on the Mate 20 Pro, the Honor Magic 2 features Full HD+ resolution display. The Weibo post of AnTuTu that shares the above image also reveals that there will be another Magic 2 model featuring 6 GB of RAM and 128 GB of storage.
What could be the reason lower benchmarking score of the Honor Magic 2 on AnTuTu? First of all, the handset that has popped on the benchmarking platform is a pre-production unit. Secondly, it does not seem to be optimized to deliver higher performance.
