Honor’s first foldable phone called the Magic V is expected to go official in January 2022. The company has been gradually teasing the design of the Magic V. A recent teaser showcased the appearance of its cover display and its hinge. It is expected to release a few more teasers before announcing the device. Ahead of the launch, the tipster Digital Chat Station has shared the key specifications of the device.
Honor Magic V Key Specifications
The leakster claims that the Magic V’s inner foldable display has a punch-hole at the top-right corner and its cover flaunts a centrally positioned punch-hole. As can be seen in the screenshot below, the cover display is slightly curved at its right edge.
The internal and external displays of the Honor Magic V support a high refresh rate, with one supporting 90Hz and the other one offering 120Hz. The main camera available on the rear shell of the device is headlined by a 50-megapixel camera.
As reports have claimed, the Honor Magic V might be arriving as the first foldable phone with Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 onboard. The device will run on Android 12, which will be overlaid with Honor’s Magic UI. The exact size of its battery is not mentioned in the leak. However, the tipster claims that the Magic V will support 66W fast charging.
Past reports have claimed that the Magic V, which sports an inward folding design, will be equipped with a 6.5-inch cover display and an 8-inch foldable display. A 16-megapixel camera might be available on the cover display and the device could be backed by a 4,500mAh battery. It may ship with 8 GB of RAM and 256 GB of native storage.
