Honor will unveil the much-anticipated Magic V5 foldable phone on July 2 in China. There have been reports that it will come equipped with the largest battery seen on a foldable phone. Now, the brand has officially confirmed its battery size. Additionally, it has also revealed its color variants.

As can be seen in the above image, the Honor Magic V5 will pack a massive 6,100mAh battery. Despite having a huge battery, it will measure only 8.8mm in the folded state and weigh 217 grams, making it the thinnest and lightest foldable phone.
In comparison, the Vivo X Fold 5 houses a 6,000mAh battery, whereas the Oppo Find N5 is equipped with a 5,600mAh battery. Honor is yet to confirm the fast charging capabilities of the Magic V5. However, reports have claimed that it will support 66W wired and 80W wireless charging.
Honor has also confirmed the Magic V5’s colour options. As can be seen, the device will be available in four colours: gold, red, green, and black. Under the hood, the Magic V5 is expected to feature the overclocked version of the Snapdragon 8 Elite 2 chipset.

As per reports, the Honor Magic V5 will have two 50-megapixel lenses for primary and ultra-wide cameras, as well as a 200-megapixel periscope telephoto camera. It is expected to feature a 7.95-inch 2K+ LTPO OLED foldable internal screen and a 6.45-inch cover display. The phone will run on Magic OS 9-based Android 15 and feature a side-facing fingerprint scanner.
