One of the major highlights of the Magic V5 is its upgraded telephoto camera system. It features a 64-megapixel periscope telephoto lens with optical image stabilisation (OIS). It will also come with support for telephoto macro photography. As far as other cameras are concerned, it is expected to include a 50-megapixel primary camera and a 50-megapixel ultra-wide lens.

According to the brand, the Magic V5 measures just 8.8mm at its thinnest point in the folded state. This is a notable improvement over the Magic V3’s 9.2mm, making it the slimmest foldable yet. Despite its slim profile, the device houses a large 6,100mAh battery. According to reports, the device will support 66W or 80W wired and 50W wireless charging. The device is said to weigh 217 grams, which is the same as the Vivo X Fold 5.

The Honor Magic V5 will feature the powerful Snapdragon 8 Elite Leading Version. It is expected to ship with up to 16GB of RAM and 1TB of storage. It will run on MagicOS 9-based Android 15.

The device is expected to feature a 7.95-inch inner foldable OLED screen with support for 2K+ resolution. On the outside, it will feature a 6.45-inch OLED LTPO outer screen. Both displays are expected to support a 120Hz refresh rate. It will be available in four shades: gold, red, white, and green.
