Earlier this week, Honor officially announced it’s latest flagship offering – Honor Magic3 series smartphones – during a high profile launch event where the company also launches other noteworthy products like the Honor Tab V7 Pro.
Just like any of the past Honor Magic series smartphones, the new Honor Magic3 series devices are hotly anticipated in it’s home market. Ahead of it’s debut sale on August 20th, the Magic3 series smartphones had already garnered nearly 900,000 registrations on JD.com alone – signifying the phone’s popularity among the Chinese consumers.
For those who’d missed out, the new Honor Magic3 series lineup comes in three different models including the Honor Magic3, Magic3 Pro, as well as Magic3 Pro+. These devices carry a respective starting price of 4,599 Yuan (US$710), 5,999 Yuan (US$926) and 7,999 Yuan (US$1,235) in the Chinese market.
With the ongoing chip scarcity crisis, it remains to be seen whether Honor will be able to stock up enough supply in time to meet the demand of the consumers, or will it end up in another sell out situation like the case of the Xiaomi Mi Mix 4.
