The Honor Play 4 series has already been scheduled to be unveiled on June 3rd next week. Before its actual unveiling, we’d already seen the official renders of the Honor Play 4 Pro published across several Chinese retailers, as well as some of its real life images.
Today, we’re finally able to have a look at the official renders of the vanilla Honor Play 4 which show off its rear design in full glory. On first look, it is obvious that the device’s rear design share some distinctive differences from the Honor Play 4 Pro.
Unlike the “Pro” model, the vanilla Honor Play 4 features a quad-cameras setup instead of having just two cameras at the back. Its rear camera module resembles what we see among the recently announced Honor 30 series smartphones.
According to its alleged TENAA listing, its rear cameras are expected to include a 64 megapixels main camera, 8 megapixels ultra-wide lens, 2 megapixels macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels depth sensor. The camera department will be completed with a 16 megapixels selfie camera housed within its hole-punch cutout at the front.
Under the hood, the Honor Play 4 is expected to be driven by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800 SoC which will be paired with up to 8GB of RAM and 256GB onboard storage. Likewise, the device will also have a battery capacity rated at 4,300mAh with fast-charging support.
As seen in its official renders, the Honor Play 4 will be available in at least three different colorways including Black, White and Blue.
