Honor Play 9A announced with Helio P35 SoC & 5,000mAh battery

Besides the Honor 30S, Honor had also announced a budget-centric smartphone known as Honor Play 9A was also unveiled yesterday. The main selling point of this handset will be it’s affordability and massive battery capacity.

Honor Play 9A Specifications

The Honor Play 9A arrives with a 6.3-inches LCD display which has a decent screen resolution of 720 x 1600 pixels. It comes with a dewdrop-notch which houses an 8 megapixels selfie camera.

Over at the flip-side, there will be a rectangular camera module that features a dual-camera setup comprising of a 13 megapixels main shooter and a 2 megapixels depth sensor. Moreover, there is also a fingerprint sensor located on it’s back panel.

Under the hood, the Honor Play 9A is driven by an octa-core MediaTek Helio P35 SoC coupled with 4GB of RAM and up to 128GB onboard storage space. If the storage capacity is insufficient, it is further expandable by a microSDXC card as well.

Last but not the least, the Honor Play 9A will be fueled by a monstrous 5,000mAh battery which support 10W wired charging. It will run on the company’s proprietary Magic UI 3.0 based on Android 10 OS (AOSP version).

Honor Play 9A Pricing

In the Chinese market, the Honor Play 9A is priced at 899 Yuan (US$127/ INR9,550) and (US$169/ INR12,730) for it’s 4GB+64GB and 4GB+128GB models respectively.
