The Honor Play4 series is scheduled to go official on June 3. The lineup reportedly includes Honor Play4 5G and Honor Play4 Pro 5G. The TNNH-AN00 5G phone that was spotted with full specs on TENAA recently is rumored to debut as Honor Play4 5G. On the other side, the Play4 Pro 5G is believed to break cover as the most powerful Play series phone from Honor as it is expected to come with Kirin 990 5G. A tipster from China has shared a new poster and a real-life image of the Honor Play 4 series phones.
The Honor Play4 Pro poster showcases gaming-centric design. The front side of the device features a dual punch-hole screen that promises a high screen-to-body ratio. It is equipped with a side-facing fingerprint reader.
A closer look at the rectangle-shaped camera module of the Honor Play4 Pro shows two vertically positioned lenses out of which one is believed to be the Sony IMX600y 40-megapixel sensor. Alongside these, there are two mysterious sensors placed between the LED flash unit and encircled AI text. Below, the company has imprinted the “40MP AI CAMERA” text.
The tipster has shared another image of what appears to be a real-life image of the device. It showcases the rear cameras of the phone. The camera module is slightly different as it seems to show an unknown unit on the left side of the 40MP AI CAMERA text. Also, the two sensors between the LED flash and AI text that can be seen in the above poster are not visible in the real-life shot.
Rumors have it that the Honor Play4 Pro will arrive with 40W fast charging support. Also, it is expected to be priced around 3,000 Yuan ($420).
