Honor Releases First-ever Video Teaser for the Honor 9X Series

Since last week, Honor has been teasing on their upcoming Honor 9X series almost every day on their Weibo microblog – with most of them pointing towards the device’s superior performance courtesy of its Kirin 810 SoC.

Today, Honor has released the first-ever video teaser for the Honor 9X which walks us through the history of the Honor’s “X” series for the past six years. Each year, we could see a phenomenal change to its design and features as it evolved from an entry-level to an upper mid-ranger smartphone we saw today.

What to expect from the upcoming Honor 9X Series?

In this year’s Honor 9X series, we could see a dual-camera setup on vanilla Honor X and a triple camera setup for the Honor 9X Pro. Both devices are expected to arrive with a motorize pop-up selfie camera as seen from the earlier leaked schematics.

Recently, Honor’s VP George Zhao has also hinted that the device will also excel in terms of gaming experience, device’s performance, battery life and photography.

If nothing goes wrong, the highly anticipated Honor 9X series will be announced in China on July 23rd later this month.
