Last week, Reuters reported that Honor had signed partnership with several major chip suppliers including Intel, Qualcomm and MediaTek.
Right now, Honor’s CEO George Zhao had revealed during an interview with SCMP that the company is currently in talks with Google to reinstate their partnership.
In fact, several reports had recently suggested that the Honor V40 could be launched globally with Google Mobile Services (GMS) even though this has yet to be officially confirmed by Honor.
Beside reinstating the company’s partnership with various corporations, we had also previously learned that Honor is looking to venture into the middle and higher tier market, as well as engage in overseas expansion.
This year, we can also expect Honor to launch a wide range of products including smart TVs, smartwatches, fitness bands and laptops as the company continues to enrich their IoT portfolio.
