Honor V40 Lite goes official with Dimensity 800U & 66W fast-charging

After launching the Honor V40 smartphone back in January this year, Honor is now back with a new mid-ranger smartphone known as the Honor V40 Lite (Luxury Edition) in the Chinese market.

The Honor V40 Lite builds around a 6.57” OLED display which offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 90Hz screen refresh rate, as well as an in-display fingerprint scanner. It features a central hole-punch design to accommodate its 32 megapixels selfie camera upfront.

Around the back of the device, there’s a familiar-looking camera housing that closely resembles what we saw on the Nova 8 series smartphones. These cameras include a 64 megapixels primary shooter, 8 megapixels ultra-wide unit, as well as a pair of 2 megapixels cameras for macro and depth information.

Under the hood, the Honor V40 Lite is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800U 5G chipset which is paired with 8GB RAM and up to 256GB onboard storage in the memory department.

Keeping its lights on is none other than a 3,800mAh battery that supports a snappy 66W fast-charging support. As usual, the device is shipped with the latest Magic UI 4.0 based on Android 11 OS.

For those who’re interested, the Honor V40 Lite is available for purchase at 2,999 Yuan (US$461) and 3,299 Yuan (US$507) respectively for its 8GB+128GB and 8GB+246GB models.
