Android Tablets Honor News

Honor V6 Tablet goes official with Kirin 985 SoC, 5G & Wi-Fi 6 Support

During the highly anticipated Honor’s Smart Life launch event today, the Chinese company had finally unveiled the Honor V6 tablet which is currently the first tablet in the world to feature both 5G and Wi-Fi 6 support.

As expected, the Honor V6 tablet is a upper mid-ranger device which offers a premium-looking exterior design which employs a metallic finishing for its outer shell.

Unlike typical tablets which have huge bezels, the Honor V6 tablet has considerably smaller bezels along the sides which allows it to boast an impressive screen-to-body ratio of around 84%. Its LCD display measures 10.4-inches diagonally and offers a 2000×1200 pixels screen resolution. An 8 megapixels selfie camera is present at the top bezel as well

Over at the back, there is a rectangular camera module which play host to a 13 megapixels camera and a LED flash. As usual, there will also be a familiar Honor emblem located at the middle of its rear panel. Its rear design, according to Honor, is heavily inspired by the “Tyndall effect”.

Under the hood, the Honor V6 Tablet is powered by the newly announced Kirin 985 platform which allows it to support 5G connectivity in both standalone (SA) and non-standalone (NSA) modes. In the memory compartment, it will feature 6GB of RAM and up to 128GB onboard storage space.

Other headlining features accompanying the Honor V6 Tablet include its support for Honor’s Magic-Pencil which is somewhat equivalent to the M-Pen which we saw among Huawei tablets. Furthermore, it also comes with an upgraded Huawei Histen 6.1 sound effect which is able to deliver enhanced sound quality for its users.

To keep its lights on, there will be a massive 7,250mAh battery at the helm which will take an average of 2.5 hours for a full charge. For those who’re interested, the tablet will be available in a total of 3 color variants including Green, Silver and Black.

Sad to say, Honor has yet to reveal anything with respect to its official pricing and availability.
