Recently, Honor has confirmed that the company will soon be announcing the highly-anticipated successor to last year’s Honor 9X. However, this device will not be known as Honor 10X. Instead, Honor has confirmed that the device will be rebranded to Honor X10.
Today, some of the alleged specs of the Honor X10 has been leaked on Chinese Weibo. As expected, this device will continue to be an affordable mid-ranger smartphone which has a 6.63-inches FHD+ LCD display at the front.
Under the hood, the device will be driven by the latest Kirin 820 SoC which will allow the device to support 5G connectivity. In fact, the Honor X10 will be the first device within Honor’s X-series to come with 5G support out of the box. This is the same chip which was found in the newly announced Honor 30S as well.
Other than that, it was also revealed that the device would be coming with a respectable 4,200mAh battery which is capable of supporting up to 22.5W fast-charging. Moreover, the device will also feature a side-mounted fingerprint sensor as well.
Currently, the Honor 9X offers the best performance-to-price ratio according to AnTuTu. Therefore, we do expect the upcoming Honor X10 to maintain the same offering by keeping its pricing competitive.
Although there is still no words on its official launch date, but speculations are rife that the device could be made official within the next two months.
