Honor X20 5G’s official specs listed ahead of launch

Recently, Honor published a promo teaser of the upcoming Honor X20 5G which confirmed that the phone will debut alongside the Honor Magic 3 series phones on August 12th.

Interestingly, the company has decided to jump the gun by revealing the entire specs of the phone on it’s official website ahead of it’s launch, giving us all the info we need to know about this upcoming handset – except for it’s price.

Right off the bat, the Honor X20 5G will be featuring a 6.67” LCD display that offers a FHD+ screen resolution, 120Hz refresh rate, side-mounted fingerprint scanner, as well as a 16 megapixels selfie camera housed within it’s central hole-punch cutout compartment.

The phone has three cameras at the back that are housed within a circular camera island. These cameras include a 64 megapixels (f/1.9 aperture) main camera, 2 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) macro camera, as well as a 2 megapixels (f/2.4 aperture) depth sensor.

Under the hood, the Honor X20 5G is driven by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 900 chipset which is paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB onboard storage in the memory department.

Moving on, the phone is also fitted with a respectable 4,300mAh battery which carries support for a blazing-fast 66W wired charging. On the software-side, it runs on the Magic UI 4.2 based on Android 11 out of the box.

Those who’re interested can pick the phone from three different colorways including Blue, Black and Silver. As for the official pricing and availability, we’ll be able to learn more about them during it’s upcoming August 12th launch event.
