Honor X20 Max is likely to arrive this month

We’d already heard about the existence of the Honor X20 Max for quite some time, even though there still isn’t any official words on it’s launch date so far.

However, new information surfaced on Weibo seems to suggest that the phone could be announced somewhere later this month, just in time for next month’s Double 11 festival in the Chinese market.

As you can tell from it’s moniker, the Honor X20 Max will be arriving as a successor to last year’s Honor X10 Max. Therefore, it’s expected to feature some similarities as it’s predecessor, including a huge 7.2” display as well as a gigantic 6,000mAh battery with 66W fast-charging support under the hood.

Unlike the Honor X10 Max which was powered by an octa-core MediaTek Dimensity 800 chipset, the Honor X20 Max is said to be powered by an upgraded Dimensity 1100 silicon instead.

As for the rest of the specs, they remain largely under the wrap at the moment. However, we’ll probably learn more about them as we edge closer towards it’s actual unveiling.

In related news, Honor will be holding a separate launch event on October 26th where the company is expected to unveil the new Honor 50 and Honor 50 Lite devices on the global stage.
