There have been reports that Honor will announce the Honor X70 mid-range phone this month in China. One of the major highlights of this phone is that it will surpass the Honor Power in terms of battery size. For those who don’t remember, the Power debuted in April with a huge 8,000mAh battery. A new leak, courtesy of tipster Experience More, has revealed all the key details about the upcoming X70.

The Honor X70 continues with the familiar circular camera module design. It is powered by the Snapdragon 6 Gen 4 processor and features a 6.79-inch flat OLED display with a 1.5K resolution of 2640 x 1200 pixels.
The device houses a massive 8,300mAh battery that supports 80W wired charging, but only the 512GB variant will support 80W wireless charging as well. For photography, it offers a 50-megapixel rear camera with OIS and an 8MP front camera. Despite its large battery, the phone maintains a manageable weight of around 193 to 199 grams. It is said to have a thickness of only 7.7mm.

According to the tipster, the Honor X50 was a major success in China in terms of sales. In contrast, the Honor X60 series, which launched with two variants, saw underwhelming sales due to its incremental upgrades. With the X70, Honor appears to be returning to a “single explosive model” strategy to replicate the X50’s success.
According to another source, the Honor X70 will be available in blue, black, white, and blue shades. He revealed in the comments section that X70 lineup will include the Honor X70 Max, which is expected to launch a bit later.
