Honor’s VP Teases on the Upcoming Honor 9X

Earlier today, Honor’s VP George Zhao posted a couple of images on his Weibo microblog which drop some hints on the key features of the upcoming Honor 9X which has been scheduled to be officially announced on July 23rd later this month.

Apparently, each of the image seen above have its own story to tell and it’s up to how we interpret them. From our understanding, the first image seems to hint on an immersive gaming experience for its users, as seen by the typical gaming controller. This doesn’t came much as a surprise given that the device will probably run on the EMUI 9.1 which supports the company’s renowned GPU Turbo 3.0 technology that can energize gaming experience for a wide range of game titles.

The second image is slightly harder to guess. Some believe it refers to the battery’s durability, while others felt it may be referring to the unlocking speed of the device. As for the third image, it seems to be hinting us on the speed and performance of the device as signified by the fast-moving car. Talking about speed and performance, Honor had already confirmed that the upcoming Honor 9X will be powered by the latest Kirin 810 SoC which promises an incredible performance on the smartphone.

Finally, as the last image consists of multiple firms on the background, we believe it should be referring to the device’s camera prowess. According to the rumor mills, the Honor 9X is said to arrive with a dual-camera setup, while the higher-end Honor 9X Pro will come with a triple-camera setup. Both devices will be featuring a motorize pop-up selfie camera on the front.

As mentioned earlier, out interpretation here may be wrong. So feel free to share with us your thoughts and interpretations of these images in the comment section below!
