The Asus Zenfone 5 is the latest mid-range Android smartphone announced by Taiwanese manufacturer Asus back in April this year. The device rocks a 5″ HD display powered by a 2.0GHz dual-core Intel Atom chipset along with 2GB of RAM.

1. Download the Zenfone Root APK to your PC.
2. Make sure you have downloaded and installed the necessary USB driver on your PC.
3. Make sure there is at least 50% battery remaining on your Cubot P9 smartphone.
4. Go to Settings > Security > Make sure you have checked on the Unknown Sources checkbox.

1. Connect the Zenfone 5 handset to your PC using an appropriate USB cable.
2. Copy the Zenfone Root APK from your PC to your device’s SD card.
3. Open the file explorer app ( if you don’t have one on your device, then you may want to download either Astro File Manager / ES File Explorer ) and install the Zenfone Root APK by tapping on its icon.
4. Once done, open the Zenfone Root app from your app drawer.
5. On the app, select SuperSU (by Chainfire).
6. Next up, tap on the OK I know, please root option to begin rooting Asus Zenfone 5. This process takes less than a minute to complete.
7. Finally, reboot your Zenfone 5 smartphone immediately.
8. Congratulation! You’ve just rooted Asus Zenfone 5!
