The Lanovo A706 is a quad-core powered Android smartphone released earlier this year by the Chinese manufacturer. If you happens to hold on to this device and isn’t satisfied with its performance, then you may want to consider rooting the device. Follow the steps below on how to root the Lenovo A706:
- Make sure that you have already installed ClockworkMod Recovery on your Lenovo A706.
- Download the Lenovo_A706_root_buding.zip .
- Connect your device to the PC.
- Copy and paste the Lenovo_A706_root_buding.zip to the root of your SD card.
- Disconnect your device from the PC.
- Turn off your device.
- Boot your device into ClockworkMod Recovery by pressing the Volume Up, Volume Down and Power buttons together for a moment.
- From the ClockworkMod Recovery, use the Volume key and scroll to the install.zip option and press the Power button to select it.
- Navigate to the location where you have placed the Lenovo_A706_root_buding.zip.
- It will begin flashing your device.
- Once done, select the reboot system option to reboot your device.
- Congratulation! You’ve just rooted the Lenovo A706.
