The Xolo Q900T is a mid-range Android smartphone announced recently by Indian smartphone giant Xolo. The Xolo Q900T sport a 4.7 inches HD display, powered by a 1.5GHz quad-core processor and 1GB RAM. Simply put, the Xolo Q900T is just an revamped version of the Xolo Q900 smartphone which was released back in October last year. Prerequisites before you begin rooting Xolo Q900T

1. Download the Framaroot apk to your PC.
2. Make sure you have downloaded and installed the necessary USB driver on your PC.
3. Make sure there is sufficient battery on your device.
4. Go to Settings > Security > Make sure you have checked on the Unknown Sources checkbox.
5. Back up the Xolo Q900T.

Follow the steps below on how to root Xolo Q900T

1. Connect the Xolo Q900T to your PC using an appropriate USB cable.
2. Copy the Framaroot apk from your PC to your device’s SD card.
3. Open the file explorer app ( if you don’t have one on your device, then you may want to download either Astro File Manager / ES File Explorer ) and install the Framaroot apk by tapping on its icon.
4. Launch the Framaroot app on your Xolo Q900T smartphone.
5. From the Framaroot app, select the Install Superuser option under the Select an action to execute after root section as shown above.
6. In the next section, choose the Boromir exploit to root Xolo Q900T.
7. Once the app has rooted your device, you should see a success pop-up like the one above.
8. Reboot your smartphone.
9. Congratulation! You’ve just rooted Xolo Q900T!
