HTC One officially heading to Verizon after a long wait

HTC One officially heading to Verizon A week ago, we just reported a new rumor that the HTC One might be heading to Verizon after its name was being spotted within a list of HTC devices that Verizon is carrying. Today, the big red one has finally announced through their @VZWnews Twitter account that the HTC One will be launched  “later this summer”. Still no other information on its availability and pricing has been revealed by Verizon so far.

Although its a great news that Verizon will be carrying the HTC One, but we’re really wondering why Verizon previously announced that they will not be selling the HTC One and urge their customers to consider getting the Droid DNA instead. Sad to say some of their customers have probably picked up other devices following the announcement from Verizon – and will definitely be angered by their latest decision to bring in the device.

Are you one of the customers of Verizon? If so will you be getting the HTC One from the carrier?
