HTC One will not be coming to Verizon, but Droid DNA will

HTC One will not be coming to VerizonIf you can remember, last week we’d reported that the HTC One will be heading to Verizon. However, this doesn’t seems to be the case anymore. According to a Twitter respond by a HTC representative, Verizon will not be carrying the HTC One but will bring the Droid DNA instead. We have no idea what Verizon is up to, but this will definitely affect the sales of the HTC One since Verizon is the largest carrier in U.S. As for the other 3 carriers – US Cellular, AT&T and T-Mobile, they have confirmed to be carrying the device, although actual release date has yet to be announced.

With the HTC One out from Verizon’s stores, the Samsung Galaxy S4 and Sony Xperia Z  will be the only 2 high-end devices that people can look at – at least for the next 3 months. So for those who really want to get your hands on the HTC One, you probably have to purchase an unlocked version from a retailer instead.
