HTC has confirmed through one of their comments on their Facebook page that the latest HTC Sense 5.0 UI will soon be heading to the following global variant – HTC One X, One X+, One S and finally the Butterfly. However, not all features of Sense 5.0 will be available after the update due to various limitations on the device itself. One of the key feature that may not be available is the enhancement features for the camera, which you can find in HTC One.
HTC will be offering upgrades to some of its existing devices in the next few months, including global variants of HTC One X, One X+, One S and the HTC Butterfly. Also, note that some features enabled by the new HTC One hardware will not be available in the software updates.
Although HTC has yet to announce when the software update will be rolled out, but we don’t expect it to come early since the HTC One will only be officially released on March 15.
