Recent reports have revealed that HTC would be releasing three smartphones before the end of this year. These smartphones are codenamed as Ocean Master, Ocean Lite and Ocean Harmony. Fresh information suggests that the Ocean Master would be launching as HTC U11 Plus and it will be the company’s next flagship phone. A French publication has revealed some of the key specs that will be arriving on the HTC U11 Plus.
According to the publication, the HTC U11 Plus has a 5.9-inch screen supplied by Japan Display that supports a resolution of 1,440 x 2,880 pixels. It is rumored to offer an aspect ratio of 18:9. The Snapdragon 835 SoC will be powering the flagship phone.
Its base model is expected to include 4 GB RAM + 64 GB of UFS 2.1 storage. The advanced model is pegged to feature 6 GB of RAM + 128 GB of storage. Other rumored specs include 8-megapixel frontal camera, 12-megapixel rear-facing snapper, 9V/2A Quick Charge 3.0 and IP68 certified dust and water-resistant body. The squeezable frame feature that is available on the HTC U11 is also speculated to be available on the U11 Plus.
The HTC U11 Plus is expected to break cover on Nov. 11 in China. With this flagship phone, the Taiwanese company is aiming to rebuild its market share in China. It is also pegged to come with an attractive price tag.
